国籍再取得の届出

この度、当事務所で日本国籍の再取得を希望される方の手続きをサポートさせていただくこととなりました。

弊所へサポートをご依頼いただき、誠にありがとうございます。

ご依頼者は、国籍法第12条の規定により、いわゆる「不留保」によって日本国籍を喪失された方です。国籍法第12条では、外国で生まれた日本国民が、出生と同時に外国国籍も取得した場合、3ヶ月以内に国籍留保の意思表示をしないと、出生時にさかのぼって日本国籍を喪失するとされております。

日本国籍の再取得の届出は、18歳に達するまでの間に行う必要があります。

国籍再取得の手続きに際しては、まずはお住まいの地域の管轄法務局へ相談下さい。法務局にて再取得の可能性や必要書類について説明を受けた上で、申請を進める形となります。

当事務所では、国籍再取得のサポートをはじめ、法務局との対応や書類作成支援も行っております。

また、当事務所では、長期にわたり日本に在留し、日本を深く愛し、日本人として生きていきたいと心から希望される方に限り、帰化申請のサポートも承っております。

一方で、日本のパスポートの取得等の上記以外の目的での帰化申請のサポートのご希望についてはお引き受けしておりません。

The client is a person who has lost his Japanese nationality due to so-called "non-reservation" pursuant to Article 12 of the Nationality Act. Article 12 of the Nationality Act states that if a Japanese national born abroad acquires a foreign nationality at birth, he/she will lose his/her Japanese nationality retroactively to the time of birth unless he/she expresses his/her intention to retain his/her nationality within three months.

Notification of reacquisition of Japanese nationality must be made before reaching the age of 18.

When applying to reacquire Japanese nationality, please first consult with the Legal Affairs Bureau in your area. You will receive an explanation from the Legal Affairs Bureau about the possibility of reacquisition and the required documents before proceeding with your application.

Our office provides support for reacquiring Japanese nationality, as well as dealing with the Legal Affairs Bureau and assisting with the preparation of documents.

In addition, our office provides support for naturalization applications only for those who have lived in Japan for a long period of time, deeply love Japan, and sincerely desire to live as a Japanese.

On the other hand, we do not accept requests for support for naturalization applications for purposes other than those mentioned above, such as obtaining a Japanese passport.
