Recently, we received a request from a foreign client working in Kumamoto City to apply for an extension of his spouse's "dependent" residence status, and the application was successfully approved.

I am relieved that the extension was approved without any problems.

When reviewing your "dependent" visa renewal application, the dependent's residence status in Japan is extremely important. Specifically, factors such as income stability, tax payment status, and social insurance enrollment and appropriate payment status are strictly checked.
