経営管理ビザの在留期間更新が許可されました│熊本市内で会社経営のお客様

先日、熊本市で会社を経営されている外国人のお客様よりご依頼いただいた、経営管理ビザの在留期間更新申請が無事に許可されました。

更新が無事に許可され、弊所としましても安堵いたしました。

経営管理ビザの更新審査では、申請者ご本人の納税状況や社会保険の加入・適切な納付状況に加えて、会社の経営状況そのものが重要な審査対象となります。売上や財務内容が安定していない場合には、今後どのように事業を継続し、改善・成長させていくのかについて、根拠をもって説明することが求められます。

特に、赤字が続いているケースや事業再構築中のケースでは、財務書類だけでは説明が不十分となる場合があり、状況に応じて、公認会計士・税理士・中小企業診断士などの専門家による会社の安定性を示す書面を準備することが望ましい場合もございます。

令和7年10月16日より「経営・管理」ビザの許可基準が改正施行され、施行日以降の「経営・管理」ビザの在留資格認定証明書交付申請にあたっては、新しい許可基準を満たす必要がございます。

なお、既に「経営・管理」で在留中の方が、施行日から3年を経過する日（令和10年10月16日）までの間に在留期間の更新許可申請を行う場合については、改正後の基準に適合しない場合であっても、経営状況や改正後の基準に適合する見込み等を踏まえて、許否判断を行うとされており、施行日から3年を経過した後になされた在留期間更新許可申請については、改正後の基準に適合する必要があります。

Recently, we successfully approved an application for renewal of the period of stay for a Business Manager Visa requested by a foreign client who runs a company in Kumamoto City.

During the review for renewal of a Business Manager Visa, in addition to the applicant's tax payment status and social insurance enrollment and appropriate payment status, the company's management situation itself is also an important subject of review. If sales or financial conditions are not stable, you will be required to provide a well-founded explanation of how you plan to continue, improve, and grow your business in the future.

In particular, in cases where there has been a continuing deficit or the business is undergoing restructuring, financial documents alone may not be enough to explain the situation, and depending on the situation, it may be desirable to prepare a document from a professional such as a certified public accountant, tax accountant, or small and medium-sized enterprise management consultant demonstrating the company's stability.

Revised criteria for "Business Manager" visas will come into effect on October 16, 2025, and applications for a Certificate of Eligibility for a "Business Manager" visa after the effective date will need to meet the new criteria.

In addition, if an individual who is already residing in Japan on a "Business Manager" status applies for permission to extend their period of stay between now and the date three years have passed since the effective date (October 16, 2018), even if they do not meet the revised standards, a decision will be made as to whether or not to extend their period of stay based on the business situation and the likelihood of meeting the revised standards. Applications for extension of period of stay made after three years have passed since the effective date must meet the revised standards.
