経営管理ビザの在留期間更新申請サポートを受任しました

熊本市内で会社を経営されている外国籍のお客様より、経営管理ビザの在留期間更新申請サポートのご依頼をいただきました。

経営管理ビザの更新においては、ご自身の適切な在留活動、納税、社会保険への加入及び納付状況でなく、以下のように、経営管理を行っている会社の状況についても審査の対象となります。

1．申請人ご本人が適正に経営・管理業務に従事しているか

名義貸しやペーパーカンパニーではなく、実際に会社の経営・管理に携わっていることが重要です。日々の事業活動を裏付ける書類の提出が求められます。

また、2025年7月17日より、経営管理ビザの更新申請において「直近の在留期間における事業の経営又は管理に関する活動内容を具体的に説明する文書（任意様式）」が提出書類に追加されています。

2．会社の適切な事業活動や財務状況、税務・社会保険の履行状況

更新時には「今後安定的に事業が継続できるか」という点も審査対象です。

直近の決算書や試算表を通じて、経営が健全であるかを確認されます。

赤字決算である場合は、売上の実績、事業計画や改善の見込み等について合理的に説明できることが重要です。

法人税・消費税・源泉所得税といった法人の税務だけでなく、社会保険への加入と納付も確認されます。また、代表者ご本人の住民税や所得税の納付状況も非常に重要です。

また、経営者ご自身が会社から適切な報酬を受け、生活できる基盤を築いていることが必要です。所得課税証明書や納税証明書も提出資料に含まれます。

提出書類を通じて、「安定した事業運営と社会的信用を持続していること」を証明することが大切です。

上記の通り、経営管理ビザの更新では、初回の取得時と異なり「実績」が重視されます。

赤字決算である場合でも、補足資料や合理的な説明を添えることで、許可につなげられる可能性があります。

We received a request from a foreign client who runs a company in Kumamoto City for support with their application for renewal of period of stay for a Business Manager Visa.

When renewing a Business Manager Visa, not only will the client's appropriate resident activities, tax payment, and social insurance enrollment and payment status be examined, but the status of the company they manage will also be subject to review, as follows:

1．The applicant must be properly engaged in business management.　

It is important that the applicant is actually involved in the management of the company, not just lending their name or establishing a paper company. Documents verifying daily business activities are required.

In addition, as of July 17, 2025, a "document specifically explaining the activities related to business management during the most recent period of stay (optional format)" will be added to the list of required documents for Business Manager Visa renewal applications.

2．The company's appropriate business activities, financial status, and tax and social insurance compliance status.

During renewal, the company's ability to continue business operations stably is also examined. The company's most recent financial statements and trial balance are reviewed to confirm the soundness of its management.

If the company is in the red, it is important to be able to provide a reasonable explanation for its sales performance, business plan, and prospects for improvement.

Not only will corporate tax matters such as corporate tax, consumption tax, and withholding income tax be confirmed, but social insurance enrollment and payment will also be confirmed.

The representative's own resident tax and income tax payment status is also extremely important.

It is also necessary for the manager to receive appropriate compensation from the company and have established a foundation on which they can live. Income tax certificates and tax payment certificates will also be included in the documents to be submitted.

It is important to prove through the documents submitted that you are "maintaining stable business operations and social credibility."

As mentioned above, when renewing a Business Manager Visa, emphasis is placed on "track record," unlike when initially obtaining one.

Even if you have a deficit in your financial statements, you may be able to obtain permission by submitting supplementary documents and a reasonable explanation.
