We are pleased to announce that the application to extend the period of stay for a Taiwanese engineer, employed by the Japanese subsidiary of a Taiwanese company (a TSMC-related supplier located in Kikuchi District, Kumamoto Prefecture), has been approved under the "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services" visa category.

This was the engineer's first renewal application, and we are happy to report that not only was it approved without issue, but the period of stay was also extended—much to the client’s satisfaction. We are also sincerely pleased to have contributed to the continued stability of their employee's residency, which is an important factor in the smooth operation of the company's organizational structure.
