We received a request for support in applying for a Certificate of Eligibility for a client who is getting married to a partner from the Philippines. The international marriage procedures were successfully completed, and we have now applied for a Certificate of Eligibility.

The partner had been working in Japan, but returned to Japan when his visa expired. We are now proceeding with the application process to obtain residence status as the spouse of a Japanese national.

Spouse visa applications are subject to rigorous screening, including the circumstances leading up to the marriage and the stability of the couple's life after marriage.

As each client's circumstances are different, we conduct thorough interviews and support them in gathering the appropriate documentation and providing a thorough explanation to the Immigration Bureau (Immigration Services Agency).
