The application for an extension of period of stay for an employee of our client, a TSMC-related supplier company in Kikuchi County, Kumamoto Prefecture, has been approved.

This application was for a visa renewal for an employee from Taiwan who entered Japan last year with "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services" status of residence who works mainly in interpretation, translation and general affairs at the company.

Although this was the employee's first application for renewal, the review was completed in just about a week, and the period of stay was successfully extended to three years.
