An engineer working for one of our clients, a TSMC supplier company in Kumamoto City, has been granted permission to extend the period of stay (extended to three years on the first renewal).

I received a request from the Japanese subsidiary of a Taiwanese company (a supplier company related to TSMC), a client of my office in Kumamoto City, to successfully approve an application for an extension of the period of stay for an "Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services" visa for an engineer employee from Taiwan who works for the company.

This was the employee's first application for renewal, and the extension of the period of stay from one year to three years was approved, which made the client very happy. My office is also very pleased to be able to report this to our client.
